I didn't know Graham particularly well as our work paths rarely crossed, but I really enjoyed our conversations in the kitchen, mainly about cycling (and he inspired me to do some research into audax). He came across as a lovely, thoughtful, kind and intelligent man - one of those people who just made work a nicer placer to be - and I will greatly miss seeing him around and chatting to him. Rest in peace.

Graham, You have helped me through innumerable technical difficulties at Lucy’s, most times with a smile on your face. You always had the patience, the knowledge and the dedication to help not only me but your colleagues even though it put your own schedule back. It was a pleasure to do customer trips with you. I always had the confidence you would solve any issue with consummate ease Your biking experiences are the stuff of legends, your respect for the environment was an example to us all, you are irreplaceable and will be sorely missed. Graham, I have been struggling to know what to say; words seem inadequate. From the moment I met you as a fresh faced graduate I could see how special you were and you never let me down. I now have a massive Graham shaped hole in my life I will never be able to completely fill. You were truly dedicated to everything you did; whether it was cycling mad distances or designing a new protection scheme. There are few people in life you never here a bad word about; you were one of these. Rest easy, you, Ian and all the family are in my thoughts and prayers. x

Graham, Words cannot describe how grateful and lucky I am to be one of the many that had the opportunity and privilege to work alongside you. Although, not as often or for as long as I would have loved to. But every time we did they were some of the best days at work. Your ability to solve issues and work out solutions will forever be unmatched. Graham, I feel like we started our Lucy's jouney together (I still remember us heading into Oxford on the bus for that first Christmas Do) and you've been as constant a part of Lucy life as anything else for the last 15 or so years. I can't quite get my head round you not being here for the rest of it. I've really struggled to find words but you will be missed more than I think you'd ever have realised, Lucy's and all who have had the pleasure to work with you will forever remember you. Graham, I cannot believe I am writing this, no words seem to amount to the man that you were, that's why this has been rewritten more times than the Aegis 36 schematic. I am incredibly grateful to have met you, you were truly one of a kind. Your mind was unmatched, I have never met someone so intelligent but yet shared this knowledge with such kindness. Even when I asked the most uneducated questions you would just giggle and explain; thank you for always making me feel equal and supported. I am so thankful for all the chin wags we had, mostly about Wendover Woods and yes, most of the time it was just me rambling on and on... and on, but you would always smile and laugh away with me, thank you for always seeing me for me, and being my friend. A lovely and lively person. I first met Graham for a training session in Banbury, before departing on an expedition to Ghana to fix some boxes. I ended up joining Graham on one of these trips and shared a lot of adventurous discussions. At sites and in between travel to them. Very polite and softspoken. You will be missed.

A lovely person and a gentleman who will be missed by everyone. You were my go to man during my time at Lucy and provided support on so many occasions. Oh Graham, How I am going to miss you. How can you be gone? You were the next newbe to start Lucys after me and I remember being so grateful I wasn't the only one. Over the years I got to know you as one of the nicest guys with kindest disposition, you were gentle but sparky, with a great sense of humour. You were always so happy to help me when I needed it specially to plant trees and anything to help nature. Its just the kind of bloke you were. You cared, and the goodness and light that was in your soul it spilled out of you. The last time I saw you, you were cycling in and smiling good morning. It never crossed my mind that would be the last time I would see you. Rest in peace Graham, you made your mark on world though you would be too modest to realise just how much. I know you're in a better place where that lovely, gentle, bright and talented spirit lives on.

Oh Graham, there are so many words and yet none seem quite enough. None that feel like they can describe adequately the kindness of your heart and soul, the passion with which you did everything, the gentleness of your frustration at being so in demand, nor capture the chuckle that accompanied your wit. I am totally shocked by the last couple of weeks and still can’t quite believe it. Since the day I started on Lucy’s ten years ago we collaborated together wether it was me helping you get through your SSE authorisations or the constant phone calls from me to you whilst on site with various inane questions, you never once made me feel like I was an annoyance and would always take the time to make sure I understood what you were teaching me. I’ll miss you old mate and I’ll always remember the fry ups we used to have on site while your dad was our boss. RIP and keep peddling xxx

A really pleasant guy. I remember when I first started at Lucy's and met Graham, in the time I knew him he was always eager to help and had an abundance of energy. I appreciated his help, knowledge, and guidance. We will all dearly miss Graham. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Graham was one of the kindest, helpful persons I have ever had the pleasure to meet. At work, I knew that Graham would be more than happy to help in any issues I had. It was always good to hear about his latest cycling adventure. You will be greatly missed and so glad to have had you as not only a work colleague, but also as a friend.

Graham, you were brilliant in every possible way! As a colleague, you seemed to know everything and were always willing to share your knowledge with a smile, no matter how busy you were. I enjoyed swapping stories about our various crazy adventures, be it on wheels or hanging from ropes, and was absolutely delighted when you put Pantera on in the van on the way to Didcot one morning! I will be doing well if I can carry on in my life with just a fraction of your enthusiasm and kindness. I will miss you for sure!

Graham, such a knowledgebale, intelligent, and kind person. I will not only miss your advice on work matters, but more recently we were regualrly checking in on each other. Sleep well brother I will see you on the other side for sure.

So sad you are gone Graham, you were a big part of my life. Since Africa we had some great reunions (beers) and meet ups, riding in Switzerland, Germany, England and Scotland. Of course when you start a race in Inverness most people drive up or fly, not you mate, you cycle there , do the race, then cycle back! Rest in Peace.

I watched my friends little boy turn in to a teenager and then went off to university and became a very talented young man. So many people were proud of you Graham.
